Biography

Barry H Greenberg, MD, is a Professor of Medicine and Director of the Advanced Heart Failure Treatment Program at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center.

He is Immediate Past President and a founding member of the Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA), where he also serves as Chair of the Advocacy and ad hoc Development Committees. Professor Greenberg leads a research program investigating basic mechanisms involved in heart failure. His key areas of research interest include heart failure, cardiomyopathy, cardiac remodeling, cardiac dysfunction, and investigational therapies. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and serves on the Editorial Boards of several cardiology journals.
